/Veggie & Fresh - Project vegan salami
Last week, our project team consisting of Sonja, Stefan, Marcel Huub and Dominik was at Handtmann in Biberach.
Together they carried out a large-scale test on a "ConPro Link" co-extrusion line. With success!During the trial, our vegan salami was coated with alginate in a continuous process.The alginate, when cured, serves as a protective coating for the vegan sausage meat.Further trials with customers will be undertaken in the future together with Handtmann!We look forward to the product launch.
